Council has completed the installation of the table and chairs at Boomer Crescent overlooking Merry Beach.

This project resulted from an inventory of facilities conducted by the BPKTCA( Kerry Callaghan) some time ago and formed one of a number of projects endorsed by the community and sent to Council.

Council successfully completed its consultation with affected residents last year and now the table has been installed.

The installation site has a number of advantages including:
* the site is easily accessible to visitors
* the site offers morning sun and afternoon shade
* there is no effect to the appearance of the mown reserve
* the site provides impressive views over Merry Beach
* the site remains on Council Managed land.

The table is set off centre so that there is provision for wheelchair access on its northern end.
