Why Does A RAP Matter?
Reconciliation Action Plans are much more than words on a page—they represent a commitment to action. Across Australia, RAPs are built on four stages of development, often spanning decades, to ensure genuine progress. Each step requires demonstrated commitment and measurable outcomes, reflecting a journey of healing and respect.
Shoalhaven’s RAP will be launched in May 2025 and finalized in late 2026. This is a unique opportunity to shape how we uphold respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in our local area.
