Shoalhaven First Nations Film Festival presents films by Canadian First Nations filmmakers to celebrate International Day of the World’s Indigenous Peoples, 9 August.

A showcase of short films highlighting the Anishinaabe People of the Great Lakes Region, curated by accomplished filmmakers Candace Scott-Moore and Richard Scott-Moore who link Canada’s Anishinaabe People with the Yuin Nation centred on the Shoalhaven

Uncle Gerry Moore, OAM, and Yuin Elder, will offer a very special Welcome to Country and introduction to films that reflect the deep connection to land and water shared by Canadian and Australian Indigenous Peoples on a day that celebrates all Indigenous Peoples

The films will be screened at 2 pm on Saturda,y 9 August at Huskisson Pictures, followed by afternoon tea and an opportunity to discuss the films.
