Good morning Community Consultative Bodies
Shoalhaven City Council is proud to partner with neighbouring councils Wollongong, Shellharbour and Kiama for the Local Government Regional NAIDOC Awards 2024 Nominations. As in other years, to put on such an event we will be supported by grants, sponsorship from local businesses and organisations and co-funding from our neighbouring councils.
The awards are a highly anticipated occasion in the Illawarra/Shoalhaven region bringing together respected community leaders and honoured guests. They serve as a platform to recognise and celebrate individuals, organisations and local businesses who have made significant contributions to Aboriginal communities, culture and Country across the region.
We would really appreciate your support with ensuring local Aboriginal community members are recognised and celebrated at these awards, so could you please share the information sheet, nomination guide and nomination form with your community/networks.
