DESCRIPTION:There has been a lot of positive progress since the Council recently deferred a DA SF10987 33 Forest Rd Kioloa decision involving the Community\, Council Development Officers\, BPKTCA Officers\, SCC Mayor & Councillors. \nThe applicant has submitted a revised plan for lots\, which increased the lot sizes along the South and East boundaries\, significantly lowering the risk potential of waste discharge into adjacent creeks and beaches. \nNo pump-outs were proposed\, and this non-compliance would have been of great concern to the BPKTCA and Council\, as was the risk of effluent treatment failure\, which has now been reduced. \nThe average lot size\, including drainage easement\, is 2378.7m2 (95.1%) of the 2500m2; the lot numbers have been reduced from 21 to 17. \nSmaller lots 1-6 in Stage 1  still exist\, ranging from 1313.9m2 to 2302.8m2; they are near existing smaller lots. \nPlease see the revised plan included\, which shows the proposed 17 Lots\, sizes and layouts; more details are included in the Council meeting minutes attachments. \n241106 BPKTCA - z33 Forest Road - Amended draft Plan of Subdivision - 6.11.24\nCommunity members who raised objections have been advised on how to stay involved; see below.  If you still have concerns\, please contact your local Councillors or the Council Officer listed below. \n241107 Report to Council - 12 November - SF10987 - 33 Forest Rd KIOLOA\nPlease see the attached extract from the Council Meeting Attachments for Tuesday\, 12th November 2024. \nPages from 241112 CL_20241112_ATT_18125_EXCLUDED-2\n  \n

DESCRIPTION:Residents invited to have say on property sales\n\n\n\n\n22 April 2024 \n\n\n\n\nResidents are invited to provide feedback about properties identified for potential sale as part of Council’s Land Sales Strategy. \nAt last week’s meeting\, Council resolved to sell nine properties of land immediately and proceed with the investigation of another 15 properties that could include rezoning or reclassification to enable their sale to assist with the current financial situation. \nAll properties identified for potential sale are considered as underutilised and surplus to the needs of the Council and community\, based on its current and potential use. \n“We are eager to hear from residents about any of the properties listed for potential sale to assist in the investigative work that’s being done to determine if they are suitable for sale\,” said Mayor Amanda Findley. \n“While some properties endorsed by the Council will be placed on the market soon\, others could take months or years to go through the necessary review process before they can be progressed any further\,” Cr Findley said. \nInformation about the property sales program is on the Shoalhaven Get Involved website and includes an interactive map of the properties for sale and those to be further investigated and potentially rezoned or reclassified to enable sale. It also includes land suitable for future strategic land use and maintained by Council. \nLand valuations will be done by professional Property Valuers and property sales will be managed by independent real estate agents who will engage in a competitive sales campaign to ensure the best sale price. \nThe website will be updated with decisions of Council to sell or retain properties as well as any additional properties identified for sale in the future. \nFeedback can be provided to Council via the Shoalhaven Get Involved website. \n240423 Land Sales Kioloa Bawley Point

A Mobile Service Centre will be visiting your area soon. \nStaff from Services Australia travel with the Mobile Service Centres and can assist people with Centrelink and Medicare payments and services. Information about Department of Veterans’ Affairs programs and support services for veterans and their families is also available. \nOur Mobile Service Centres have disabled access and customer Wi-Fi to assist in creating MyGov accounts and accessing online services. \nThe attached factsheet includes further information about the services available. \nMore information about the Australian Government Mobile Service Centre is available on our website: servicesaustralia.gov.au/mobileoffice \nOur visiting schedule will comply with best practice COVID protocols.
